What’s Cooking?…Dessert Pizza

Dessert Pizza with Nutella, bananas and walnuts!  One word  – Yummy!  One more thing, you don’t have to wait for dessert.  It’s great anytime!  In fact I’m making this one for  morning tea / party tomorrow 🙂

This is how I do it.

Ingredients for the dough

2 cups of white breadmix flour
3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons dried yeast

Ingredients for the topping

1 small cup Nutella
2 large or three small bananas
1/4 cup  castor sugar

1/2 cup broken walnuts

Put the ingredients for the dough in breadmaker on dough cycle or in mixer with a dough hook, mix for 15 minutes, turn off and rest 1 hour.  Prepare a pizza tray or slice tin.  Line with baking paper.
Using  clean hands, mold the dough into a circular shape.  Press into pizza tray as evenly as possible.  Use a little extra olive oil if necessary.
Spread the Nutella over the top of the dough.  Use the Nutella at room temperature.  Spread gently, it may need some persuasion. Slice the bananas over the top.  Sprinkle with the walnuts and sugar.
Allow to stand for 15 mins, then bake at 190 degrees Celcius for 20 mins or until edges are golden and the banans and walnuts are slightly caramelised.
Serve warm.
